DELTA HOUSE NEWS

As we look ahead to the new school year, Delta students were given the opportunity to vote for a local charity of their choice that we will make a special effort to fundraise for. Whilst it was incredibly close, I'm pleased to announce that the charity chosen is Off The Record. Off The Record aim to promote positive mental health and resilience of all young people. They also aim to challenge the wider social and structural inequalities that lead to poorer mental health and life chances. We are delighted to be supporting a charity that provides an invaluable service to a growing number of our students.

Members of the '100 Club':

Congratulations to all of the following students for successfully earning more than 100 house points this year. This really is a fantastic achievement and Miss McDonagh is immensely proud of each of the students listed because this means on 100 separate occasions a member of staff has recognised these students for being brilliant.

A reminder

When Ben Smyth came in to visit us he reminded us that every child has a right to feel happy and safe in school. Every human being has the right to feel valued for who they are and to have what makes them unique celebrated. We want to ensure that as we look ahead to the new academic year we remember what Ben shared with us in our assembly and strive towards being the best version of ourselves day in, day out.
