There is no formal written examination – the course is all continuously assessed. Essential requirements for success:
- Attendance
- Punctuality
- Self discipline
- Reliability
- Commitment
- Organisation
You will be working as a member of a team from day one and failure to accept these essential requirements means that you will be letting down not just yourself but other members of the group. You are expected to attend all lessons. THERE WILL NOT BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO RESIT MODULES.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR EACH LESSON?
You will need to bring the following to each lesson:
- Writing equipment including a pencil for annotating scripts
- A note book for documentation and working notes
- Your ongoing folder
You will need to wear appropriate clothing such as a t shirt, track suit bottom and shoes you can move in. do not wear tight jeans, skirts or restrictive clothing. Heels, flip flops and steel capped boots are not advised! Trainers and rubber soled shoes are fine. These sessions will be very active and you need to be changed and ready to go. Jewellry must be removed and long hair tied back. It is very important to warm up and cool down at the beginning and end of a practical session.
