Stoke Lodge - COVID-19 Update
It is with regret that we wish to advise that the area inside the fence at Stoke Lodge Playing Fields will no longer be open for use by the public with immediate effect.
We have a responsibility to maintain site security at the school site at Stoke Lodge in order that we continue to meet the requirements of our insurance policy and those of our landlord.
With the clear directive from the Prime Minister that only essential travel should be undertaken to carry out essential work, we cannot put our staff members who are at work to perform these essential duties at risk or those who work for Bristol Security Services by continuing to undertake daily locking and unlocking.
As well as putting this information on our social media sites, we will be installing notices shortly onto all gates.
We look to a time in the future when we can reopen the area inside the fence at the playing fields for our students P E requirements and also to permit the public to use our school site again.
We will not be installing temporary fencing to the area surrounding the playing fields which is unfenced that is also part of the school site, this will remain accessible and we would ask that if you choose to use this area that you take notice of the government's advice around social distancing - make sure you are two metres away from other people at all times.
We thank you for your understanding and support of our decision at this time of unprecedented national difficulty.
We wish you and your family all the best, please keep safe and well.
